I came across your page and I'm impressed with your stuff! I actually work at a youth center in Brooklyn where we are trying to start up a garden with very limited space, and so I'm looking for some creative ways to do it. I'd also like do do some workshops or give information about container gardening for people who live in the neighborhood. Do you do any kinds or workshops, or is that something you'd be interested in doing? Let me know! Thanks :)

I do sorta want to marry you but that's not why I'm writing. Sooo I want to do this urban gardening thing... I live in DC and I have a back deck that gets a ton of sun so I definitely have the space for it. It seems I'm probably a little late seasonally-speaking though to do it this year. When do you start planting stuff? Do you start your veggies as seedlings? Any tips/tricks on this? I don't think I've grown anything from a seed since I was in 5th grade. Thanks and keep it up, this stuff is awesome!

Thanks for the comment. Get it done girl. It's never too late. Plant some of the hardier things like kales, swiss chard and arugula. Buy the plants instead of the seeds this time around. What's the worst that'll happen?
