Creamy Garlic Dressing

Posted on Aug 11 2011 - 2:40am by Mike Lieberman
    Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 5-6 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Dash of sea salt
  • Water to consistency
    How to make:

  • Bust open all of your garlic and add it to your blender or food processor.
  • Squeeze in your lemon and add the rest of your ingredients.
  • Blend it up, adding tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Serve atop a salad or as a veggie dip.

Too much garlic for me!  Wonder how it would be with a bit of garlic and then dill?

Hard to get decent avocados here…they are always spotted and have gross fibrousy chunks in them.  Disappointed more often than not.  They looked especially bad at the store today.

I’ve been getting kinda tired of the same ol’ vinaigrette and have been looking for some great creamy dressings to mix it up a bit…this looks/sounds perfect!  Can’t wait to try it.

Whoa Mike, made this tonight…ya’ll love to pack in the garlic flavor!! Whoo Hooo, it was good, but we will have to cut a bit back on the garlic here…thinkin I might have hurt Mr. Garden Half a bit with it LOL

Hahaha. The raw garlic is an anti-microbial and will help to kill of the bad stuff in your stomach 😉
